Meet The Locals: Casa de Mañana

Casa de Mañana is a perfectly appointed 3-bedroom 2-bathroom villa and a beautiful private pool in the highly desirable remote beach town of Playa Junquillal (Hoon-kee-yall), Costa Rica on the northern Pacific coast of the Guanacaste region.  The house is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation in this wonderfully remote area that is close to everything you want to do.  The house is fully-appointed and very comfortably accommodates up to six people, has air conditioning throughout, washing machine and dryer, wireless internet and security system.  The master bedroom has a California king bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third has two super twins.  Amazing beaches are a short walk, or even shorter drive from the front door.

Playa Junquillal, although relatively close to many exciting attractions and nightlife, quiet and safe.  Women and GLBTQ travelers will feel very welcome visiting here. It is home to approximately 150 permanent residents comprised of both Tico’s (locals to Costa Rica) and foreigners called Expats.  Here you will find one of the country’s largest and most beautiful untouched beaches surrounded by an incredible landscape and an abundance of wildlife. From Howler Monkeys to parrots, you are sure to see and hear the wonderful sounds of the tropics around every turn.

ABOUT US:  Prior to our Costa Rica journey, our life’s work was dedicated to helping others while promoting fairness, equality and inclusion through education and facilitating challenging conversations to a wide array of audiences across the US.  Our Casa Gives Back! program is a continuation of our efforts.

As part of our mission, we donate week-long stays at our villa, Casa de Mañana to charities and causes that we believe in.  Since 2013 alone we have helped raise more than $150,000 for numerous organizations providing vital services across the US and Canada.  Each year they request we donate another week-long stay to their fundraisers because of the previous years’ success.  Their winning bidders are always thrilled with their stay and appreciate our hands-on assistance in helping them plan a great vacation.
